About me
Hello, I’m Tracey, a fully qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor. I offer one-to-one counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where I will support you to understand and explore what feels difficult in your life right now.
My therapeutic training is in Gestalt psychotherapy which values the exploration of emotions in a relational context to gently identify repeating patterns and themes which may no longer be useful or helpful.
My aim is to support you to experience greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-acceptance and what it is you really need to enable you to live with greater ease, choice and joy.
I will welcome and accept you as a unique individual and strive to meet you where you are in your life now, working at a pace which feels comfortable for you.
My approach is trauma-informed which means I will support you to explore your thoughts and feelings in the present moment, with reverence to body-based communications as important messengers for what may be unspoken.
My approach is also influenced by compassion-focused therapy, internal family systems (IFS) and inner child work which can be particularly supportive when working with a strong inner critic and/or feelings of shame.
Please get in touch if you would like to explore us working together.
